![]() (Despite how obvious a choice they seem, Hydraulic Crosshairs and Sharpened Bullets actually underperform that second elemental mod unless you're prepared to drop Seeker to get both).īy comparison, The AkStiletto Prime gives slightly lower damage output (30.8k dps to the grakatas' 33.5) - though, the reduced crit chance does mean that using something else in place of the crit mods costs you less - and less maximum ammo capacity (the smaller magazine is mostly offset by the lower fire rate, 3.53 seconds for the AkStiletto vs 3.75 for the Twin Grakatas), with the main benefits being the faster reload, and fewer ammo pick-ups needed to replenish your ammo supply. ![]() Or if you can keep your ammo usage down, adding a second elemental mod to combine with heat also gives a substantial boost in DPS. Of course, the ammo efficiency can also be addressed with (Primed) Pistol Ammo Mutation while letting you put just as much damage down-range. You could put Creeping Bullseye in there, but that actually reduces your damage output (leaving that spot empty gives you 25k burst DPS, compared to 21.7k with Creeping), though it does help the ammo efficiency. Personally, I can't see not grabbing Seeker - it doesn't add to DPS against a single target, but I spend enough time firing into crowds where it lets me hit 2 or 3 enemies at once to make it worth it. It's a crit-based weapon, so that means (Primed) Pistol Gambit and (Primed) Target Cracker go in there as well. Hornet Strike, Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, and Primed Heated Charge are must-haves on virtually any secondary (the one place I've made an exception is the Torid, where I decided that damage was never going to be a thing anyway and dropped Hornet Strike). The lack of room for customizing them is, of course, an issue. Twin Grakatas are my bullet-hose of choice.
